John Calipari reacts to BJ Boston going pro

For the second-straight day, the Kentucky Wildcats lost a player to the 2021 NBA Draft.

After Terrence Clarke said adios Friday, Brandon ‘BJ’ Boston followed suit Saturday, announcing he was turning pro and hiring an agent. Isaiah Jackson also entered the draft earlier this week but did not hire an agent.

“It was an honor for me to play for the Big Blue Nation this season and to suit up for one of the best coaches in the country,” Boston said via press release. “I want to thank Coach Cal, the staff, and my teammates for pushing me day in and day out to be the best player I could be.
