Kentucky head coach John Calipari and assistant coach Chin Coleman were in to see 2022 five-star Adem Bona on Tuesday, a source confirmed with KSR.
The trip to see Bona comes just days before the standout center takes his official visit to Lexington. His trip is scheduled from October 1-3.
Travis Branham of 247Sports was the first to break the news. He also reported top-five recruit and Kentucky commit Chris Livingston will take an official visit to Lexington this weekend, as well.
KSR reported last week that Kentucky still had ground to make up with the five-star center, with UCLA, Kansas and the NBL serving as the other core finalists.
