LEXINGTON, Ky. - Almost nine months after first committing to Kentucky, five-star forward Kahlil Whitney has signed with the Wildcats.
Whitney, who played his high school ball at Roselle Catholic in New Jersey, initially delayed his signing from the fall period to the spring so he could sign in a ceremony at his hometown of Chicago.
"I've been waiting to talk about Khalil for a long time but I know how much it meant to him to do this signing back where it all started for him," Kentucky coach John Calipari said in a UK news release.
