Kentucky men’s basketball will be without several key pieces for Monday’s season opener.
Ahead of the 6:30 p.m. EST tipoff, Wildcats’ head coach John Calipari confirmed on his pregame radio show that Oscar Tshiebwe and Sahvir Wheeler, who are both dealing with minor injuries, will not play against Howard. Calipari also added that sophomore Daimion Collins, whose father recently passed away unexpectedly, is also out for the game and will return to Lexington sometime Monday night.
