What do John Calipari, Bill Self, and country music star Kane Brown have in common? The three are teaming up for a charity concert in Cincinnati next month to benefit the McLendon Minority Leadership Initiative.
The Kane Brown Charity Concert presented by Prolink, altafiber, and Fifth Third Bank will take place October 28 at Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati. It will raise awareness and funds for the McLendon Minority Leadership Initiative, which was founded by Calipari and Harvard coach Tommy Amaker with the mission of providing minorities a jump-start to their careers through practical experiences, opportunities to build their network, and instilling the values of John McLendon: Integrity, education, leadership, and mentorship.
