John Calipari has had some memorable Big Blue Madness speeches, which effectively serve as his manifesto for the new season.
This year is no different, but with arguably his youngest and most inexperienced team to date, Cal knew this particular speech needed to be a special one. Cal went out and perfectly summarized what to expect from this year’s team, while also stressing to fans that they must have patience — perhaps more than with any previous team — for this to be an enjoyable and memorable season.
“My message has always been and will continue to be, are you willing to embrace the competition that you will go up against every single day at Kentucky,” asked Cal.
