During said call, Lunardi called Kentucky a “solid” No. 4 seed in the tournament. However, he hasn’t completely ruled out a bump up to a No. 3 seed, or a fall to a No. 5 if the Cats were to drop its first game of the SEC tournament.
“Let’s be honest, this is not a vintage Kentucky resume,” he said.
Lunardi also believes A&M is the only other SEC team that is a lock to reach the big dance.
