A new 2017 target is emerging for some of college basketball's elite programs.
In what's already viewed as a loaded 2017 class with talented wings, it looks like another has emerged on UK's big board.
According to CBS Sports' Matt Norlander, the Kentucky Wildcats are among a handful of blue-blood programs showing interest in four-star forward Jermaine Samuels. He's a new name in most recruiting circles, as John Calipari has been more focused on the likes of Kevin Knox, Kris Wilkes, Jarred Vanderbilt and John Petty.
But as Norlander notes, UK is showing more interest in Sanders, who's already scored an offer from the Kansas Jayhawks, and the Duke Blue Devils are also lurking.
