There have been rumblings that Jemarl Baker Jr. could look at a transfer this offseason, and that’s exactly what he’ll do.
According to Jeff Goodman, Baker has entered the transfer portal and is now set to leave Lexington:
Kentucky’s Jemarl Baker will transfer, source told @Stadium. Quality shooter who was injured for much of his time in Lexington.

There have been rumors since the middle of last season that Baker could look to transfer closer to home in California. That, along with Kentucky adding Tyrese Maxey to join Ashton Hagans and Immanuel Quickley, which will make it hard for Baker to earn significant minutes yet again next season, it makes sense for him to at least consider a move to somewhere he will have a chance to make a bigger impact while being closer to friends and family.
