The former two-time Kentucky commit is taking his talents to junior college.
Last night The Athletic’s Manny Navarro confirmed a report that Jarren Williams will spend the 2020 football season at Garden City Community College in Kansas. The quarterback will be teaming up with former Kentucky Wildcat Xavier Peters.
As a redshirt freshman Williams was primarily the Hurricanes’ starting quarterback. In 2019 he completed 169-of-276 passes (61.2%), for 2,187 yards with 19 TDs and 7 INTs, highlighted by a six-touchdown performance against Louisville. Despite his success on the field, turmoil followed him into the locker room as one teammate blasted him for missing curfew the night before a game.
