The KHSAA Hall of Fame is adding one of its brightest stars in 2023. The Kentucky High School Athletic Association announced on Friday afternoon that Jared Lorenzen will be one of 14 members of its 2023 Hall of Fame Class.
Before he broke records at the University of Kentucky, Jared Lorenzen was a multi-sport star at Ft. Thomas Highlands. Teaming up with another future Wildcat, Derek Smith, the Ft. Thomas tandem tore up the gridiron and hardwood. The Blue Birds appeared in three-straight Sweet 16s at Rupp Arena and won the 1998 AAA State Championship in football.
