There is some big news on the UK football front regarding an in-state prospect who is having second thoughts about leaving the Bluegrass.
According to Justin Rowland over at CatsIllustrated.com, four-star linebacker Jared Casey has de-committed from Oregon, only one day removed from an in-home visit with the Kentucky coaching staff. The Louisville Ballard star hosted Vince Marrow, Brad White and Matt House in Louisville on Monday.
Casey committed to Oregon over Kentucky, Louisville and Wisconsin back in September. The de-commitment doesn’t necessarily mean he will flip to the Cats, but it’s certainly a positive step in that direction.
