Kentucky fans will recognize the Epps name as Anthony was one of the great Wildcats during the mid-1990s when UK returned to national prominence and eventually won national championships in 1996 and 1998.
Now, there’s another Epps making noise in Kentucky high school basketball.
Epps’ son, Jamison, scored 31 points and pulled down a ridiculous 31 rebounds last night in Marion County’s double overtime win over North Hardin.
The 31 boards broke the school, district and region records. According to research by Nate Bryan, it is the most rebounds in a KHSAA boys game in more than 20 years.
