Jamal Murray turned down Las Vegas pro team

Earlier this week, Hoops Hype Canada reported Jamal Murray passed up a deal worth over a million dollars to play professional ball overseas. He chose the Kentucky route instead, and for that, Big Blue Nation is extremely grateful and excited to see him in blue this fall.

Well today, Hoops Hype Canada followed up its original report with more details on that rumored “lucrative” offer. Turns out, the seven-figure deal came from the Las Vegas Dealers, the semi-pro team that hopes to lure McDonald’s All-Americans away from college and into Sin City for a year. The Dealers plan to sign elite high school talent and college player to compete against professional teams overseas.
