Jamal Murray in good company in 700 Club

Jamal Murray’s 19 points in his NCAA tourney debut pushed him over the 700-point mark on the year, a plateau very few players have reached at Kentucky. Murray became only the seventh Wildcat in the program’s history to score 700 points in a single season, led by Dan Issel’s untouchable record of 948 points in 1969-70.

Dan Issel – 948 (1969-70)
Jodie Meeks – 854 (2008-09)
Jamal Mashburn – 767 (1991-92)
Dan Issel – 746 (1968-69)
Kevin Grevey – 730 (1974-75)
Ron Mercer – 725 (1996-97)
Kenny Walker – 721 (1985-86)
Jamal Mashburn – 714 (1992-93)
Kenny Walker – 710 (1984-85)
Jamal Murray – 704 (2015-16)
