Jamal Murray was named to the roster for the Canadian National team last week, and he made his presence felt in their first contest in the Pan-American Games.
Canada battled the Dominican Republic in the first game of pool play for both countries, and Murray helped lead the Canadians to a 105-88 victory. Murray showed his offensive skills with several nice moves and finished with 12 points, two ebounds and two assists in 21 minutes of play.
