Jamal Murray caps off historic 2-game stretch with 42 points in win over Jazz

Jamal Murray is in the midst of his best stretch of basketball ever.

With his Denver Nuggets down 3-1 and facing elimination at the hands of the Utah Jazz in their first-round series, Murray went for 42 points on 17/26 shooting, eight rebounds, and eight assists, pushing Denver to a 117-107 win Tuesday. He had just nine points in the first half, then erupted for 33 points in the second half, including some daggers down the stretch to put the series at 3-2.

With the game tied at 101, Murray scored nine straight to help the Nuggets gain separation and ultimately come away with the 10-point win.
