Jamal Murray has been the story of college basketball this summer with his stellar play in the Pan American games for Team Canada. In fact, Murray’s performances in the Pan Am Games were good enough to put him in contention for the Canadian National Team that will compete in the FIBA Americas Championship from August 31-September 12. Yesterday, we informed you that John Calipari had spoken to The Sporting News‘ Mike DeCourcy and that he’s given Canadian Basketball officials a “drop-dead” date in which Murray has to be on UK’s campus.
