Jalen Green was a one-time Kentucky Wildcats target and some might even say that Green was very close to coming to Kentucky had the Wildcats not signed the late Terrence Clarke.
Kentucky went with Clarke and Green chose the G-League over Kentucky, Auburn, and Memphis. But this past season, the G-League Ignite team didn’t really receive a lot of publicity.
Now, most basketball fans will know the names of Jalen Green, Isaiah Todd and Daishen Nix, all one-time UK targets, but would any of those three have faired better in college? Todd was a former Michigan commit and Nix a former UCLA commit.
