Hytchye was Mark Stoops’ first commitment from the state of Ohio. He played in eight games as a true freshman in 2013, recording a career-high seven tackles in his first start against Georgia. Since then, he’s been fallen down the depth chart. Hendrix was a three-star recruit and redshirted his freshman year. He was listed third on the depth chart at middle linebacker, alongside transfer Courtney Love.
Interestingly, both Hytchye and Hendrix have started following coaches from other schools on Twitter, Hytchye South Alabama and Georgia State, Hendrix UNC Charlotte. Best of luck to them both.
