Kentucky Football’s prize recruit from the class of 2021 is already picking up some hardware.
Incoming freshman Jager Burton, who played high school football at Frederick Douglass High School, was named the 2020 Co-Mr. Football in the state of Kentucky by The Associated Press on Thursday afternoon. The 6-foot-4, 270-pound offensive guard shares the honors with Beechwood High School quarterback Cameron Hergott. Burton is the first offensive lineman to win the award, which dates back to 1986.
