One key piece to the Kentucky football defense returned to practice earlier this week, as Jacquez Jones returned to the field after a two-week absence due to an ankle injury. The news was first reported by Nick Roush of KSR.

Jones, an Ole Miss transfer, has played in 33 games while recording a total of 182 tackles in his career. He was also the leading tackler for the Rebels last season with 75.

Defensive coordinator Brad White spoke about the senior linebacker earlier this week and expects him to bounce back quickly.
