Ten years ago today, the Kentucky Wildcats upset Georgia in Commonwealth Stadium to snap a nine-game losing streak to the Bulldogs. The win followed a big conference road win, the week before.
Prior to that game, Jacob Tamme stood in front of his team in the locker room and said, “Last week we experienced something on the road that we haven’t experienced since I’ve been here — a happy plane ride home, a big win on the road in the SEC. This week we’re going to experience something that none of us have ever experienced at home — we’ve never experienced a win like this at home, and we’re getting ready to do it.
