The Jacksonville Jaguars are planning to franchise tag former Kentucky linebacker Josh Allen.
The move was made after Allen’s agents and the team were unable to reach an agreement on a long-term deal. The franchise tag at his position should pay him $24 million in guaranteed money over the next year.
The Jaguars are hoping to reach a long term deal with Allen, who has emerged as one of the best pass rushers in the NFL.
