After practice, Mark Stoops and Eli Capilouto kicked the Wildcat and Scratch off the set in the Purple Lot to do some talking of their own.
Stoops praised all the work El Presidente has put into improving the infrastructure of the program. The improvements are visible from the set, with Stoops pointing to the practice facility under construction, “That’s gonna be the true game-changer for us.”
Finebaum also gave Stoops the opportunity to discuss the rumors swirling around a departure to Miami. He reiterated the fact that he’s a little uncomfortable discussing it because he feels as though he hasn’t won enough, but even so, Stoops doesn’t sound like he’s going anywhere.
