Kentucky is expected to be without strongman Reid Travis for at least two weeks after an MRI confirmed on Wednesday that he sprained his right knee during the second half of Tuesday’s win at Missouri. No further damage to Travis’ knee was detected.
On his radio show that aired Wednesday night before the results of the MRI were revealed, UK Coach John Calipari spoke of Travis missing the next two or three games.
“I would say, at the least, he’s going to be out a week to 10 days,” Calipari said. “Maybe two weeks.”
Kentucky’s next game is against Auburn on Saturday in Rupp Arena.
