Former Kentucky Wildcats guard Isaiah Briscoe scored 50 points in the Estonia/Latvia All-Star game this week, earning MVP honors for the game and getting his name in the headlines. Briscoe has been playing for Kalev-Cramo club in Estonia since November, just a month after being waived by the Portland Trail Blazers.
For those of you keeping score at home, Briscoe scored more points in this game than he did during the entire NCAA tournament last year (34). Briscoe often seemed uncomfortable offensively at Kentucky, being forced to play off the ball when his natural position was point guard.
