Iowa sharpshooter and former CJ Fredrick is entering the transfer portal.
After rumors of a potential departure began swirling to close out the 2020-21 season, that speculation was confirmed late Sunday evening when the former Covington Catholic standout left the Iowa program and entered the portal.
Rob Howe of HawkeyeNation.com was the first to break the news on Sunday, followed by Chad Leistikow of HawkCentral.com confirming the departure shortly after.
