Through two games, it’s clear this Kentucky team is individually talented, but there are flaws they will need to overcome in order to live up to the hype they received leading up to the season.
One of those flaws? 3-point shooting, as the team has shot just 23 percent from deep to open the season, including a 0-10 finish from three in the team’s loss to Richmond on Sunday afternoon.
Arguably Kentucky’s top sharpshooter, redshirt freshman Dontaie Allen, played just six minutes in the team’s season opener against Morehead State, knocking down one 3-pointer on three attempts.
