LEXINGTON, Ky. – As Reid Travis prepared for his first games as a Kentucky basketball player, he had an important resource to call on.
The August trip to the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas for four exhibition games was an early culture shock for Reid in the adjustment as a graduate transfer from Stanford to Kentucky. Luckily for him, older brother Jonah Travis had already made the trip for a basketball tournament as a freshman at Harvard and could offer him some pointers about playing at the resort.
