Illinois point guard Andre Curbelo has placed his name in the transfer portal.
Curbelo was Beg Ten Freshman of the Year in 2020 and averaged 8.5 points and 3.8 assists per game in his two seasons with the Illini.
There were rumors last year that Curbelo would follow former Illinois assistant Orlando Antigua to Kentucky.
