The SEC Tournament is less than a month away, and with plenty of basketball left to play, the SEC standings are a bit of a mess, so much so that I had to refresh my memory on the league’s tiebreaker procedures while working on the bracket this afternoon. Kentucky and LSU are currently tied for first place in the league, but because the Tigers beat the Cats back in January, they would be the number one seed. Of course, Kentucky closes the regular season with LSU on March 5, but if the tournament started today, LSU would get the noon start on Friday, leaving Kentucky with the 6 p.
If the SEC Tournament started today…
