The 2014 version of the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team is one that took us on a roller coaster of emotion from start to finish. The 'Cats were coming off the disappointing NIT loss and had just finalized a recruiting class being hailed as potentially the greatest of all-time.
Kentucky was losing a top draft pick in Nerlens Noel, Kyle Wiltjer would transfer for more playing time, and Archie Goodwin would enter the draft despite being a lottery pick.
In addition to the phenomenal class coming in, the 2014 'Cats had Willie Cauley-Stein and Alex Poythress coming back for their Sophomore seasons.
