During team periods, Coach Stoops usually monitors play from behind the defense. He’s quick to defend his secondary whenever there is a claim for pass interference. On a jump ball between Blake Bone and Chris Westry, Bone was spectacular, yet Stoops was the first to say, “He’s out of bounds.”
It’s all in good fun, until the offense scores, “I’m on offensive guy when they score. Who you think comes up with those plays?”
