John Calipari’s team was quick to get out of town after losing yet another game, this time to winless Georgia Tech down in Atlanta. Calipari was brief in his postgame remarks, then we got a short conversation with Davion Mintz before the bus took off.
“We had high expectations coming into the season,” Mintz said from State Farm Arena, following his team’s loss, “but all in all, this team is very inexperienced.”
“We’re going to keep battling through this, honestly. We dropped three (games). It’s nothing to just come back and win three in a row so we’ll put those together and figure this out and we’ll be just fine.
