Before summer training began in Lexington, UK freshman wide receiver Akeem Hayes trained with NFL stars in South Florida.
A 5’8″ slot receiver from Hollywood, Florida, Hayes was wide-eyed at UK football media day when he talked about the time he spent with Antonio Brown and Todd Gurley. Two of the most explosive playmakers in the NFL, the outgoing 18-year old was not too star-struck to crash Brown and Gurley’s party.
“Me and Antonio are from the same area,” Hayes explained. “I guess Todd Gurley was working out with Antonio. I had seen them at a local park working out one day, so I decided to put my cleats on and go workout with them.
