Rivalry week is here as the Kentucky Wildcats’ regular-season finale comes on Senior Day vs. the Louisville Cardinals.
The annual Governor’s Cup battle will see both teams enter the matchup already postseason eligible and looking bound for a middle-tier bowl game. But in this rivalry, pride is all that matters to these schools, and that’s enough for what should be a highly-contested game that takes 60 minutes to decide.
Kentucky is coming off a 50-7 win over UT-Martin to become bowl eligible while also breaking the school rushing record. The Wildcats’ offense has become one of the best rushing attacks the school has ever seen, as they’ve already passed last year’s rushing mark with two games still left to play.
