After Kentucky snapped The Streak in The Swamp, a rivalry has developed on the recruiting front.
The Cats’ 2020 recruiting class started by investing in Florida. The first two commitments came in the trenches, offensive linemen Gerald Mincey and Richie Leonard. Once Dan Mullen caught wind of the move, he sprung into action.
Last night at 5:30, Mullen’s revenge came in the form of a commitment from Richie Leonard. Joining Mincey and defensive tackle Lamar Goods, all three of UK’s decommitments eventually flipped to Florida.
While Mullen was working on revenge, Kentucky acquired a verbal commitment from Samuel Anaele, a Top 100 recruit the tenth-ranked player in the Sunshine State.
