LEXINGTON - Kentucky basketball no longer has the market cornered on one-and-done stars on campus.
As widely expected, junior wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson declared for the NFL draft on Wednesday. Robinson played just one season as a Wildcat after transferring from Nebraska but left Lexington with the best single season by a wide receiver in program history.
Robinson broke the UK records for catches (104) and receiving yards (1,334) in a single season. He ranked second in the SEC in both categories.
The historic season represented an improbable end to a relationship with UK that began with Robinson spurning Mark Stoops and his staff as a recruit at Western Hills High School in Frankfort.
