How Kentucky football has managed the new redshirt rule this season

LEXINGTON, Ky. – With three regular-season contests and a bowl game left, Kentucky football has entered the latest phase of college football’s new redshirt rule.

Any player with a redshirt season remaining who has not played yet this season could play in the four remaining games and keep that year of eligibility.

But don’t expect many from that group to be key contributors down the stretch for Kentucky.
