We’re roughly halfway through the high school football season for most of the country. Over the weekend, 18 of Kentucky’s 20 class of 2024 pledges (which now ranks No. 25 in the country according to On3) were set to take the stage, although an injury and some major scoreboard blowouts limited playing time for several of them.
Among the top performers were four-star linebacker Elijah Groves, four-star wide receiver Hardley Gilmore, three-star offensive lineman Aba Selm, and three-star linebacker Steven Soles. In-state commits such as four-star quarterback Cutter Boley, the four-star Smith twins, and three-star tight end Willie Rodriguez were either sidelined in blowout wins or played just the first half.
