LEXINGTON – Kentucky basketball’s loss at Arkansas two weeks ago was thought to be the end of the Wildcats’ hopes for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
But chaos reigned supreme in the college basketball world that weekend with each of the top six teams in the Associated Press Top 25 falling. Those losses meant the bracket projections essentially remained stagnant. Now, Kentucky enters conference tournament week with at least a conceivable path to the top seed line on Selection Sunday.
The Wildcats likely need help though.
