LEXINGTON – John Calipari is up front about his trouble remembering specific teams and games from the past, so perhaps it should come as no surprise that there is some confusion about just exactly how much point guard Kellan Grady played at Davidson before transferring to Kentucky.
Calipari insists he remembers Grady playing point guard against Kentucky in the 2018 NCAA Tournament as a freshman. Considering Calipari also claimed this week that game was played in San Antonio, Texas, when it was actually played in Boise, Idaho, it is fair to wonder if Calipari’s memory of Grady’s role in that game might be a little faulty.
