LEXINGTON - Kentucky football's upset of Florida has jumpstarted the Wildcats' rise up the top 25 rankings.
Mark Stoops' team jumped from No. 23 to No. 14 in the USA TODAY AFCA Coaches Poll released Sunday. The Wildcats are also expected to be ranked in the Associated Press top 25 for the first time this season when it is released later Sunday.
The No. 14 ranking in the Coaches Poll is Kentucky's best since ending the 2018 season at No. 11 overall. UK would be ranked in the Associated Press poll for the first time after games have been played since the final 2018 poll.
