How a trip west can help Terry Wilson win the Kentucky quarterback job

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Quarterback Terry Wilson is headed west in May in his quest to earn the Kentucky football team’s starting job.

At the Quarterback Academy camp in Arizona, Wilson worked with Derek Rasmussen, a coach in Wilson’s native Oklahoma. Rasmussen came away impressed with what the junior-college transfer was able to accomplish in the short time at the camp.

“I felt a different demeanor from Terry than I did in the past this week,” Rasmussen said. “Focused would be the word I would use.
