After going scoreless in the first, Ryan Nicholson stepped up to the plate with one out in the second and, after taking a strike, worked the count in his favor by taking three straight balls before sending the fifth pitch of the at-bat over the centerfield fence for a solo home run that gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead.
