The Kentucky Wildcats cruised to a 25-point win over the Lamar Cardinals, led by Tyrese Maxey’s 21 points. Nick Richards added a double-double, while Ashton Hagans finished with 15 points and nine rebounds of his own.

For the first time in several games, the Cats also saw their 3-point shots begin to fall. Kentucky finished the evening 10-22 from the three-point line, good for 45.5 percent. Five different Wildcats earned a bucket from behind-the-arc: Tyrese Maxey went 4-6, Ashton Hagans finished 3-4 and Nate Sestina, Keion Brooks and Immanuel Quickley each earned one.
