The Cats crushed Stony Brook in just about every way imaginable on their way to an impressive opening win.
Kentucky is looking as dangerous as anyone in college basketball with the NCAA Tournament in full swing.
Up first were the Stony Brook Seawolves, who were no match for a Wildcat squad that put on a defensive clinic on their way to an 85-57 win. UK blocked 15 shots while holding Stony Brook to 20-of-76 shooting and 14 turnovers vs 10 assists.
UK shot 75.9% from the field in the 2nd half, their best shooting performance in a half of an NCAA Tournament game in the John Calipari era
