One of the top high school freshman in the nation is already planning on suiting up for John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats.
Marvel Allen, a 6-foot-3 prospect in the class of 2023, said he currently spends his time watching clips and documentaries of Coach Cal and his time in Lexington, hoping to someday earn a scholarship from the Kentucky head coach.
“I like Coach Cal; that’s my favorite coach,” he said in an interview with Chris Nelsen of The Palm Beach Post this weekend. “He brings so much intensity. I watch their clips all the time, their documentaries.
