Kentucky football coach Mark Stoops talks about how his team managed to dominate rival Louisville for the Governor's Cup. Dominique Yates, Louisville Courier Journal
LEXINGTON - Mark Stoops has not spent much time in Lexington since his Kentucky football team blew out rival Louisville in the regular season finale.
With just two full weeks between that game and the December early signing period, Stoops and his staff hit the road the day after the Louisville game to visit their 16 verbal commitments in the 2020 class and touch base with several top uncommitted targets.
Stoops and his assistants will be back on campus this weekend for the start of Belk Bowl practices, but there is recruiting work left to due before Wednesday’s signing day.
